ABOUT THE OWNERS
Kali Bowron is the head coach and half the heart of M&K Equine! She is an experienced coach of 6 years and has over 10 years within the equine world. She began in the english world of showjumping, learning different techniques based in dressage teachings. Here, she also learned proper horse care, horsemanship, rehabilitation, horse training, hard work and a whole lot about dealing with horses! After 8 years in the english world, Kali made the switch to western, using her training techniques to learn barrel racing, pole bending and overall western riding techniques. Throughout high school, Kali furthered her knowledge of equines by junior coaching, participating in lessons as well as learning massage & rehabilitation. In the last 4 years, Kali has completed and received certification for equine massage therapy and is a R.E.M.T. Along with this, she worked under other coaches and started and maintained a successful lesson program as head coach, building strong client relationships and demonstrating a clear knowledge of western and English teaching. Now she’s excited to branch out and begin her own business, upholding the same values for her clients!

Along with coaching, Kali has a passion for helping animals and has always wanted to be around horses as much as she could. It was working through barns and with injured horses that she realized how equine massage was so impactful for these beautiful creatures. She began schooling at Olds College in 2023, and pursued her certificate of Equine Massage Therapy. Prior to this, she shadowed and practiced massage with certified practitioners to further her knowledge and help the horses at her barn. After completing her certification, she began Elite Strides Equine, a business proud to provide honest and top notch care. Kali believes in setting a gold standard of care, ensuring our clients are educated, treated and cared for all within a personal level. Through her commitment to excellence, innovation and compassionate care, she believes in building lasting relationships with her clients and their equine companions.
